Begin your design journey
Bespoke rings, designed alongside you in Melbourne.
Work alongside Eloise to design your own unique, specialised piece, crafted to last a lifetime. All custom pieces are handmade using your choice of recycled 9ct, 14ct or 18ct yellow, rose or white gold as well as ethically sourced hand cut gemstones.
Begin your design journey by booking a 45 min consultation with Eloise, held virtually so we can work with you wherever you are. To do so, click below and select Bespoke Consultation from the options provided. Bookings are open 3 months in advance. If you do not see any consult times available in the next 3 months, you can wait for more times to be released, or get in touch and we'll let you know if there are any cancellations.
A $100 deposit is required to confirm your booking, which is later redeemable from the final cost of your piece. This deposit is non refundable. Exceptions will be made only for certain circumstances.

Let's have a chat
Your consultation is where we get to know each other and you share your ideas, inspiration, gem and metal preferences, budget and timeline. We guide you through our responsibly sourced gemstones, or what we can source from trusted suppliers. Eloise then shapes your ideas into a single clear direction with an initial sketch. The minimum budget for bespoke is $3,500 AUD; the final price depends on metal, gems and complexity.

02Staying connected
Bespoke is a shared journey between artist and client, so we keep you informed as your vision takes shape. After the consultation we send a summary of what we discussed, along with a clear breakdown of costs.
-
03
The deposit
Once you approve, a 50 percent deposit secures your place and production begins. Bespoke pieces take 12 to 16 weeks from deposit to completion, so tell us about any important dates we should know.

04Sketches and gemstones
Some stones are chosen in the consultation; others need extra sourcing. We reach out to trusted suppliers and send you options, images and quotes. Higher value stones may call for a second deposit. Once the stones are settled, Eloise draws a detailed digital sketch for you to approve before the wax model.

Our favourite part
Every piece is handmade in Melbourne from start to finish using the lost wax method, carved first as a wax model. You see images of the wax before it is cast. Once cast, the stones are set and the piece is cleaned and polished to your finish. Now it is ready, and distinctly yours.
Finding The Right Diamond.
Choosing a diamond can feel overwhelming at first, but it doesn't need to be.
Some people are drawn to the bright precision of a modern brilliant cut, while others fall in love with the softer character of an old mine or antique diamond. Some prefer a laboratory-grown diamond, others want a natural stone with its own history.
Part of my job is helping you understand the differences, explaining what affects the look and longevity of a stone, and sourcing diamonds that suit both your design and your budget.
Choosing Your Sapphires.
Sapphires have become one of my favourite stones to work with because no two are ever quite the same.
Australian sapphires, especially teal and parti sapphires, have an incredible depth of colour and a quiet individuality that makes each ring feel completely unique. They are also exceptionally durable, making them a beautiful choice for jewellery that is worn every day.
I carefully source sapphires for their colour, character and quality, and I'll help you compare different stones until we find one that feels like yours.

Why Choose a Custom Ring?
Investment
What should I expect to spend for a custom ring ?
Every bespoke ring is different, so there isn't a fixed price.
Our bespoke engagement rings begin at AUD $3,500, with the final investment depending on the gemstones you choose, the metal, the complexity of the design, and whether you're working with heirloom jewellery or starting from scratch.
We'll talk through your ideas, your priorities and your budget together. The goal isn't to design the most expensive ring possible. It's to create something that feels right for you and can be worn every day for many years to come.
Questions
Frequently Asked Questions Before Booking.
What is a bespoke ring?
A bespoke engagement ring doesn't begin with choosing a setting or scrolling through endless options. It begins with a conversation. I'll ask about the jewellery you already wear, the stones you're naturally drawn to, the practicalities of everyday life, and the details that matter to you. From there, I develop a design that feels quietly personal and considered. Rather than asking you to design your own ring, I guide the creative process, drawing on my experience to create something that reflects you while remaining true to my design aesthetic. Each ring is designed from the beginning, made slowly, and intended to be worn every day for many years to come.
What is the minimum budget for a bespoke piece?
Bespoke commissions start from $3,500 AUD. The final price depends on the metal weight, the stone (size, type, provenance) and the complexity of the setting. You receive a full written quote after the consultation.
How long does a bespoke ring take?
Crafting takes 12 to 16 weeks from the moment your 50 percent deposit is received. The full journey, including consultation, sourcing and bench time, usually spans 3 to 5 months depending on Eloise's workload.
Can I use a family stone or heirloom?
Yes. We accept diamonds, sapphires and rubies from existing pieces. Old gold can sometimes be repurposed in the new piece, when the design and alloy allow, or refined for a credit toward your commission.
What metals and stones do you work with?
Recycled 9, 14 or 18 carat gold in yellow, white or rose, and recycled sterling silver. Stones are sourced ethically through trusted suppliers, including sapphires, salt and pepper diamonds and traceable coloured gems.
Do you work with clients outside Melbourne?
Often. Consultations happen over video, sketches and quotes are shared digitally, and finished pieces ship insured Australia wide and internationally. Customs and taxes for international orders are the recipient's responsibility.
Is the consultation deposit refundable?
The $100 booking deposit is non refundable, but it is fully redeemed against the cost of your piece if you go ahead. Exceptions are made only in certain circumstances.
What about returns on bespoke pieces?
Made to order and bespoke pieces are non returnable. We use the consultation, ring sizing and progress photographs to make sure the piece is right before it is finished.
How do I book?
A $100 deposit secures your consultation, redeemable against your final piece. Bookings open three months in advance. If no times are showing, email hello@eloisefalkiner.com.au and we will let you know when slots are released or if a cancellation comes up.
