Organic & Textured Jewellery
Eloise Falkiner's jewellery is shaped by an interest in the irregular forms and surfaces found in nature. From botanical structures to the changing outlines of coastal environments, her observations become pieces defined by texture, shape and individual detail.
Explore organic and textured jewellery by Eloise Falkiner, from hand-worked metal surfaces to expressive sculptural forms. Beaten, Seafoam, Rockpool and Tidal each offer a different relationship between metal, surface and shape.

Four Distinctive Jewellery Textures
Some surfaces carry the marks of hand-worked metal, while others rise in irregular clusters, surround carefully positioned gemstones or stay smooth and rounded. Beaten, Seafoam, Rockpool and Tidal each have their own visual character.
Beaten: Hand-Worked Metal Surfaces
Beaten begins with the cliff faces that rough seas leave behind: rock that has been struck, worn and broken into uneven planes. Eloise translates that texture and formation into the metal, so a Beaten surface is made of irregular facets that catch light in unexpected ways. Rather than a uniform finish, the worked metal creates subtle variations across familiar shapes.
The Beaten Stacking Ring places this texture along a simple band. The Beaten Mini Hoop Earrings carry the same surface around a curved silhouette, while the Diamond Beaten Stacking Ring adds a diamond to the textured band.

Seafoam: Raised Organic Textures
Seafoam has a more pronounced relief, with raised, rounded forms gathering across the metal. These clustered details create an uneven surface where light and shadow change with the angle of the piece.
The Oyster Seafoam Ring concentrates this texture around a band, while the Arched Seafoam Ring combines it with a curved profile. The Seafoam Bracelet extends the same distinctive surface across individual links.
Rockpool: Sculptural Forms & Gemstone Details
Rockpool brings together raised, irregular metal and gemstones. Raised metal details create an irregular setting around gemstones, bringing contrast between surface and stone.
In the Rockpool Ring, Australian sapphires sit among sculptural metal forms. The Rockpool Band offers a narrower interpretation of this texture, while the Sapphire Solitaire Rockpool Ring places a larger gemstone at its centre.

Tidal: Smooth Shapes Softened by Water
Tidal keeps the surface quiet. Where other textures rise or break into facets, these pieces rely on shape: flat disks, teardrops and rounded bands that look worn down by the tide.
The Tears of Thetis Earrings hang hand-formed disks in a cascade, the Caledonia Ring sets a single gemstone into a rounded band, and the Luidia Disk Necklace hangs one hand-formed disk on a fine chain. Explore the Tidal collection.
Across these four textures, Eloise explores variation in surface, form and proportion. Her jewellery is designed and handcrafted in Melbourne, with attention to the individual character of each piece.
